First of all, we introduce how to create a method.
Click on the method editing window in the analysis module of software.
A window for creating a new method will pop.
Select “Aqueous” for plasma conditions and “Organic” for organic samples.
Click on OK for confirmation
Access the method editor dialog box now: in the “Spectrometer Define Elements” window, enter the symbol of element to be tested directly or click the “Periodic Table” to select the element to be tested. In the drop-down list of wave length, select the one required. After selecting the element to be tested, if it is used as an internal standard calibration element, select analyte or internal standard in the “Function” option.
In the “Spectrometer Settings” window,
Purge Gas Flow: choose high speed purge for test of wave length under 190nm. The normal purge is default.
For Real Parameters Time (sec), generally minimum value of 0.5s is set, maximum value 2s, Delay Time (s) 30 and Replicate twice.
Spectral Windows: for setting the observation windows and automatic integration windows. No change is required here.
Sampler: for setting the plasma conditions. No change is required.
Process: select the default configuration for spectral peak processing and calibration. No modification is required.
In “Calibration” window, set the unit and concentration of standard sample.
In “Define Standards” window, set and enter the standard sample blank, standard sample, method blank and their corresponding identification codes and automatic sampler position.
In “Blank Usage” window, every element selects the blank item to be used.
In “Equations and Sample Units” window, select the type of calibration equation to be used. The linear zero crossing point is default. Set the unit of sample and the significant digit of concentration doesn’t need to change.
Go to the “Options” window directly. Just remove the repeating data options to make the report clear and brief.
Thus we finish our method setting.
Finally, save the method by clicking.
Type the new method name.
Indicate date after the name for easy recognition.
We will introduce how to extract data.
Click and open “Reprocess” window in the result module of software
In the pop-up window, click on the icon of data document to be reprocessed.
In the pop-up window, select the saved data document and click on OK.
Select one or more groups of data to be processed and check the Original Method.
Click and open the method in the analysis module of software and select the same method as that during data acquisition.
Return the “Reprocess” window, select the data and click on “Reprocess” button.
Click on “Results” window to view the extracted data.
We will introduce how to collect and print reports
Click the “OPEN” option in the analysis module of software.
In the pop-up window, click the selected method and click on OK.
Click on “sample information” to create.
In the pop-up window, keep the default template unchanged and click OK.
Enter the automatic sampler position and sample information.
In a single column, right click to select Column Fill.
Enter the prefix, number and suffix, sample quantity and code position fast and save them after naming.
Click “Analysis” window.
In the pop-up window, click and check “Save the data in the result databank” option.
In the pop-up window, set the data result file name by dates and click OK.
Open the sample information and select the saved sample information file.
In the analysis window, analyze the blank, standard sample and finally specimen according to the order of sequence.
To print the results in real time, select the printing options at the window bottom when the data are enough to fill a whole page of A4 paper. If the tick is removed, data that are not enough to fill a whole page will be printed.
To print the tested data that have not been printed, click and open the result preview window in the result module.
Click the command bar at the top left corner of software to select and print the command item of current window.
Select printer and quantity and then click OK.

First of all, in each module of software, when the mouse stops on the window item, the item description will pop up automatically.
Click the command bar at the top left corner of software and click on “HELP”.
